Unit 8 Blog- Going to Miss our Class

I was just sitting here, and thinking how much I am going to miss being a part of CM229, and even though I'm not really that great on keeping a blog right now I would still love to keep in contact with those who are in this class in the future. So, I will be continuing to blog with others as long as they wish to continue blogging with me, and hopefully I will get better at it, and take the time to learn how to do all of the cool things on it as well, like posting pics, and adding songs. I just haven't really checked it all out yet. It is so cool to have a chance to make friends like this, and I love the interaction. If anyone that reads my blog would like to request me as a friend in facebook, my facebook name is under my first and last name, and my facebook address is a.wings24@yahoo.com.

Unit 5 Post- How School is Effecting Me

This might sound cheesy, but I love school, learning, and interacting with my classmates, and making new friends. However, sometimes, because I have such a close family it is hard at times to balance it all out. For instance, what do you do when your family wants to get together and have dinner, but for those who have a family like mine, you would know it's not just dinner, it's time to hang out, and could last forever.

Now, by no means, do I mean that I would not do my work due to having a close family, but it does make it harder on me, because I usually end up sacrificing my school time, for family time, and even feel guilty for saying that, like it is a bad thing.

Staying focused, is the big idea here for me, and a healthy balance is what I need to create.

Unit 6 Blog- Juggling Writing & Keeping up With Tasks

Well, so far everything is doing alright with this writing assignment, and I have to say, I don't feel that I am doing so bad with putting in some of own ideas into the paper like I thought I would have. However, I think I would like to put a little more information about yoga, and that maybe I could try to use some better words in it as well.

Changing the subject for a breif moment, my husband has pink eye, and I am having a heck of a time trying to keep everything clean that he touches, and my eyes are hurting, and itching just knowing that he has it. Hopefully, the kids don't get it.

Unit 4 Graded Blog- Giving Credit Where it is Due

Well, I know this is a little late, but I did not realize that this was a graded assignment, and I apologize to all of you, and I was really sorry when I looked into my grade book and saw a big fat zero. So, anyways I chose to go ahead and write about why it is crucial to give an author or authors' credit for their work when writing any kind of paper for both school, and work. If one would forget to cite the proper information in a paper that was written, than someone may mistakenly think that it was their own idea and not someone elses, which means that either the person that wrote the paper and failed to do their full duty of citing, would more than likely be facing some form of punishment, because it is a zero tolerance rule when it comes to plagiarism. What I had a hard time with when I retrieved references from the Library, was some of the really good articles that I found had no recognized author, and left me no choice, than to not use them. However, eventually found some more great articles, and was able to use them, and of course, naturally, it made it much more easier to cite them in my paper so far.
